DAVID BARRIO
He discovered the underwater photography (and diving) when he was living in Canarias around thirteen years ago. At the beginning he dived without camera, enjoying a lot so he didn’t need to by one until he thought, during a trip to Galapagos Islands, that he needed one to keep good souvenirs of that trip. One thing led to another and he finished inside this world.
To him, the underwater photography has been, and is, a sustainable way to enjoy the nature, knowing parts of this planet that he couldn’t have been able to know without this work and finding lots of new friends. Besides, he had the luck to start competing and having more success than what he had ever thought.
He has won important and different national and international awards.
