LA CALA FRARES: A NEW PILGRIMAGE PLACE.

I recently saw a photo of Cala Frares awarded in Salon Quillat contest in Blanes. The true is that we can say it's actually strange the nature contest (national or international) in which we cannot see this beach.

It's not excessive to say that cala Frares of Lloret de Mar is turning into an appreciate place for nature photographers, who are comming assiduously to this place.

MontPhoto, better said, MontPhoto participants started long ago an unwittingly recognisement campaign of a wonderful, very small beach in the center or Lloret de Mar. Through all awards, it has been creating more and more admiration and desires of knowing and reproducing those photos.

Cala Frares of Lloret de Mar is actually visited by hundreds of photographers all around the world to see a space photographied by succesfull photographers.

But which was trigger of this furor? Five years ago, when awarded photographers of International Contest MontPhoto of Lloret de Mar, took profit of their staying in Lloret to see and find places of beauty. And each year more, they photographied that beach, presenting each year to MontPhoto contest and others. Their success is like a boom.

In 2008, if you tried to find images in google of Cala Frares, you almost can't find any of interest... Try and do it now, hundreds of creative images in extreme light conditions are filling internet.

I'm sure this new aesthetic value will have to be much protected to preserve in a near future. Maybe this small beach could be the flag who lead other beaches and nature spaces of great landscape value.
