Welcome to the 23rd edition of the MontPhoto competition!
 
We invite both amateur and professionals photographers from all over the world to participate in the MontPhoto 2019 nature photo contest. Entries are open until April 30th.

 
The contest rewards the excellence in the photographs. We want to see innovating and inspiring images. We look for unknown places, new visions of the living beings, surprising behaviours or reinterpretations of all that is already known. Your sight documents the diversity, the beauty, the mystery and the fragility of life on our planet.
 
Entries can be submitted at  www.montphoto.com, until April 30, 2018, at 24.00 hours. Winners will be disclosed on Saturday October 5, 2019 at the Gala Awards Ceremony in Lloret de Mar (Girona).

 
How to participate in MontPhoto 2019
 
Entries can be submitted through MontPhoto website, http://montphoto.com/website/participa.asp.
Participation is exclusively on-line. Only photographs captured by digital cameras (raw file required) are accepted.
 
Each author can participate with a maximum of 25 photographs that can be distributed freely among the eleven contest categories. For the Grant, up to 10 additional images can be submitted.
 
The eleven categories of the competition are: Mountain, Mountain Activity, Mammals, Birds, Other Animals, Plant Life, Landscape, Underwater World, Macro, Ecological Report and Art in Nature.

 
Announcement of winners
 
The winners of MontPhoto 2019 will be announced next Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the MontPhoto Festival, MontPhoto Festival, in Lloret de Mar (Girona).

 
Awards
MontPhoto 2019 will distribute prizes worth 23,000 euros.
 
Once again, we announce the Grant for a conservation photo project,

The MontPhoto-WWF Grant, which consists of 6,000 euros. The project will be published in our book Inspired by Nature and an exhibition of it will be produced and exhibited at the festival. The winner will be invited to the festival for the presentation of the project and the vernissage of its exhibition.
 
MontPhoto 2019 Honor Award, consisting of 2,000 euros and diploma.
 
Awards to the categories of the contest: A first prize of 300 euros and diploma, the people's choice award consisted in photographic material and diploma and eight Honourable Mentions (diploma). Three Special Awards, each with an endowment of 300 euros and diploma. Among the youth, twelve prizes will be distributed, six young prizes of 15-17 years and six children prizes, until the age of 14, eight photographic experiences with Photo Logisthics and diploma.
 
The award-winning photographs are presented in the annual Inspired by Nature 2019, remember to make your reservation at the time of registration, and an itinerant exhibition, to be opened in Lloret de Mar (Girona) in October 2019.
 
All the winners will receive a copy of Inspired by Nature 2019, invitation to the Awards Gala, preferential access to all the events of the festival.
