A new edition of our contest with the inclusion for the firs time of video categories expands the MontPhoto 2021 proposals

MontPhoto has a clear message and everyone that visit us at the Festival can perceive it at first:
IT IS NECESSARY TO CONSERVE, OUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT.

The 25th edition of MontPhoto is full of changes and novelties. Our intention is to make visible the widest range of images, which are tools of expression and mechanisms to make us aware of the many different stories. All related to photography and the audiovisual world.
A commitment that is always with the authors, but which is associated to emotions through knowledge and becoming known.

The biggest novelty is the launch of some new categories suited for video creators.

A section of short films of between 2 and 15 min, which under the title Multimedia Storyteling explains very well the profile of the productions that are expected to be received.
There will be two themes in the competition, one based on nature and the other on mountains and adventures.

Now is the time, because more and more photographers are experimenting with audiovisual productions and videos. It is essential to enhance the importance of stories about the natural world and show them to the public.
We believe in the power of visual storytelling to trigger positive and powerful actions for our natural world. We need authentic, moving and original stories that address different audiences. Nature relies on it.
We also want stories of action, adventure, sports or challenges in the mountains or in the natural environment that stimulate and excite us.

MontPhoto always willing to create new challenges and widens its horizons in order to attract more public, to be more influential and committed to the conservation of nature.
