First informational meeting for members

On 14 May, MontPhoto Association held an online meeting with around 40 members to present the main news ahead of the festival's 30th anniversary (Lloret de Mar, 2–4 October). Paco and president Roser Gruart announced four new projects: a Community Agenda to replace the WhatsApp group and centralise member activities; an Open Call for speakers, designed to be more democratic and transparent; Revelio, a knowledge-sharing video platform for members coordinated by Xavi Hita and Ranau Vallbuena; and Generación 30, a residency programme for photographers under 30 during the week before the festival. Funding challenges and the need to attract new sponsors were also discussed, alongside member-proposed ideas such as monthly competitions, virtual workshops, and exhibition galleries.
