Description: The little Lagoon of Yelmo is on of the most beautiful places at the Pedriza del Manzanares. It is hard to find, but it has a special aura that makes you come back over and over again. After different photo sessions I was still convinced that this places was reserving something for us, we needed one visit more to discover it.

Description: The Bugaboo Provincial Park is a paradise for rock climbers. From the high level campground you can observe the climbers all day. A few minutes after this shot, I heard a scream and I watched as a climber hung on the safety rope.

Description: Some people close to me told me several times last year that the photos I was pursuing were beyond our borders, in those inhospitable places where the world's best photographers, those I always admired, work. But I've always believed I could take as good pictures as those I admire in my own area, Spain's Picos de Europa. And this is how we get to Friero's Tower and one of its spires at night in Autumn.

Descenso en el Cañón del Rio La Venta de Jorge Silva Rivera de San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas)
Place: Canó del riu La Venta, Chiapas (Mèxic)
Description: After a 7 km hike along El Ocote jungle, we arrived at one of the higher edges of the Canyon and we stayed overnight. In the morning I was the first to descend and prepared myself to capture this landscape with no people in it. When I saw my daughter descend, I could'nt help the feeling of joy seeing her in that spectacular natural scenery. I managed to capture the moment just before she fell in the water to take this picture.

Maze of ice de Orsolya Haarberg de Jakobsli (Noruega)
Place: Lofoten Islands, Norway
Description: Ice has fractured into a beautiful pattern on this mountain lake in the Lofoten Islands in Norway. It's unique structure became visible from the top of a 200m high vertical cliff wall just beside the lake, and it was the person exploring the surface of the ice that put things into perspective.

La lluvia cae en soledad. de Tontxu González Ortiz de Murua de Gueñes (Vizcaya)
Place: Cascada de San Miguel , Burgos.
Description: Waterfall descent in Burgos close to Araba and Bizkaia. Quite spectacular when the flow is good. This photo shows its more sportive side, the division behind the water placed right at the center of this 90 m high beauty. That descent was realised with Sergio Garcia Miguel (the person in the picture) and Itzi Barba.
