Description: This tiny mushroom of the genus Tricholoma struck me during an excursion dedicated to the underbrush and its inhabitants. After some quick shots that did not satisfied me from a purely photographic point of view, I tried a colour filter to give a different interpretation of the nature and a different overall vision that would value this species.

Description: The clarity of the water makes the reflection of the blue sky stand out in the whitish karst basins of the Plitvice lakes. A visual dizziness which, splashed by the colour of some autumn leaves, takes on a more unreal and at the same time creative dimension.

Description: The Cansiglio Forest is characterized by the almost exclusive presence of European Beech (Fagus sylvatica). On a cold autumn morning, the forest was enveloped in a dense fog that made it magical and quiet. I was particularly struck by the contrast of the vertical lines of the beech trees that are lost in the fog and the intertwining of the branches in the foreground.

Description: At the beginning of spring, the Common Hepatica (Anemone hepatica) wakes up from the long winter, carpeting the fields with her beautiful colours. The set of lights and defocusing create a very plastic and creative image, a visual dialogue where two elements intertwine.

Description: I took that photo of a Military Orchid (Orchis militaris) in front of a forest. To attract the attention to the orchid I photographed it in front of a hole in the grove in the background. This makes the blossom to look like it would glow in the darkness.

Description: In Germany we have a lot of Chess Flowers (Fritillaria meleagris) around Hamburg, that's the reason why I'm traveling there every year. I took that picture through a tree. The result was a great lightspot behind the flower.
