Descripción: This one of two otters I followed a couple of days in their rewildering training in th jungle of Palawan. They were rescued as baby´s and now people are trying to release them back to the wild after an extensive training in the sea, jungle and freshwater areas. This animal is not a captive animal! It was wild, is trained for the wild and will be released back into nature. As these mammals ares super agile and fast it was very hard to get a good image.

Descripción: Photographing big animals in the wild is undoubtedly stimulating, simply for the feeling of defencelessness in their presence. Leviathans like humpback whales are some of the world’s largest creatures residing in the ocean, which is home to unusual species whose proportions are unknown on land. Despite their huge volume, they have the ability to move gracefully like ballet dancers in the water. This image was taken during one of the most exciting moments in my life: I was free diving, close to a pod of whales, equipped with my fisheye lens. Unexpectedly the whole group started moving towards me, plunging through the water in unison. I felt as if I was in the middle of a highway, about to be run down by a marine battalion of colossuses. They passed so close, but surprisingly without touching me. I will never forget that breathtaking moment, when I had one of the best, not-to-be-missed opportunities to capture a close up of a truly unforgettable marine performance.

Descripción: Imagen tomada al pie de los acantilados de la pequeña isla de Noss, lugar de anidamiento de miles de alcatraces. Estas aves pueden lanzarse en picado desde una altura de 30 metros a más de 80 km/hora y perseguir sus presas bajo el agua. Todo un espectáculo de la naturaleza.

Descripción: Los peces labios dulces listados - Plectorhinchus polytaenia - siempre van en grupo buscando refugio en el arrecife como en este caso en un árbol de coral negro - Antipathes dichotoma -, en ocasiones estos grupos pueden llegar a ser muy numerosos con más de un centenar de individuos.
