An Astonishing Chase de Thomas Vijayan de Oakville (Ontario)
Place: Masai Mara, Kenya
Description: A cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) targeted a small gazelle. Luckily the cheetah started running towards the gazelle exactly the way i wanted and I was able to capture it running in between the black grass with dust forming behind its legs creating a magical frame. But the end was more astonishing. The cheetah started playing with the gazelle fawn as it was her own cub and then after some time she set it free so it could run to its mother. Even the animals value the life of other animals.

Flight from the underworld (hell) de Fabrizio Zanzi de Saltrio (Varese)
Place: Italy- Varese
Description: This photograph was taken on a mountain near my home where I had been photographing the entrance of a cave hosting a bat colony. In October, a strong fire broke out on this mountain, right next to the bat cave, and I immediately rushed with all my equipment to the site in order to document what was happening and I had very little time to take pictures after the fire devoured the wood. This is the only picture that came out correctly, an ALPINE LONG-EARED BAT (Plecotus macrobullaris) flying away from the place with flames seen in the background.
