mosaico floral de Pedro Javier Pascual Hernández de Teruel (Terol)
Place: sierra de albarracin-Teruel-España.
Description: In a small lagoon in the Sierra de Albarracín you can find SPEEDWELL (Veronica sp.) along the shore. These flowers fall into the water as time goes by creating a colourful mosaic and many interesting shapes. With patience, I place the tripod and look for the best composition by playing with the colors of the first ones to fall (the whitest ones) and those that fell more recently.

Dancing in the spring light de Daniela Mauri de Villasanta (Monza e Brianza)
Place: Natural reserve Sasso Malascarpa, Italy.
Description: On a sunny morning these COMMON HEPATICA (Anemone hepatica) seemed to be dancing in the light, near the bank of a stream. I used the light reflecting on the water to create light points emphasizing their silhouette. Then by an in-camera multiple exposure and a wide aperture, I pervaded the atmosphere with the purple of the flowers.

Fern forest de Antonio Fernández de Plasencia ()
Place: Bosque de Fanal. Isla de Madeira. Portugal
Description: I look up and I stop in front of this branch; that moment I realize that I am facing a very particular small forest, with its EPITHITE FERTS (Pteridophyta) and smaller plant formations. The mist of the environment creates that white background in the image that resemble typical plant species painted with watercolors often seen in botanical books. No doubt it is a small forest within a large forest; located in an isolated spot on a small island within a large ocean.

CEMENTERIO DE ENDEMISMOS de Fran Rubia de Roquetas de Mar (Almeria)
Place: CAÑADAS DEL TEIDE, TENERIFE-ESPAÑA
Description: I got the most out of the angle of the sun in parallel with the tilt of the mountain on a clear day to compose these wonders of our flora TOWER OF JEWELS (Echium wildpretii). In order to give it more visual impact I adjusted the values of my camera in a low key to create a much more attractive minimalism.

ABUELOS de Manuel Enrique González Carmona de Olivares (Sevilla)
Place: Parque Natural Sierra de las Nieves - Málaga- España
Description: Group of SPANISH FIRS (Abies pinsapo) that have been punished for many years by the overload of snow in winter and the strong winds typical of these altitudes (1,500 m.). They are dead, appearing to be the grandparents of the other members of their own species that are insignificant next to them. This spruce species is endemic to southern Spain, specifically Sierra de las Nieves and Sierra Bermeja in the province of Málaga and Sierra de Grazalema in Cádiz. It is a relic of tertiary conifer forests.
