ABSTRACT
"Living on the edge" is the world’s first photo-documentary about brown bears in Central Europe with a focus on Slovenia and Austria. These two neighbouring countries are completely different regarding their approach towards big predators. The project aims at depicting ways of co-existence between humans and big predators in a highly populated part of Europe, thereby raising awareness for bears with the means of high quality photojournalism, wideangle DSLR-phototraps and HD-film.
