La migración de los mosquiteros de José Manuel Grandío de Irún (Gipuzkoa)
Place: Marisma de Txingudi, Gipúscoa (España)
Description: The common chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) is an abundant species in the Txingudi marsh when birds migrate and it is very easy to see them sitting in different places near the water while eating small insects. Backlit, I spent several days in front of these semi-submerged branches photographing their comings and goings.

Description: A strangely formed little iceberg. They look so different when photographed directly from the zenith. The reflection on the water is eliminated and even parts below the water surface are visible. The picture was taken with a DJI Inspire Pro drone for my collection "90° Greenland".

Description: There are few days in Scandinavia - during the last weeks of September - in which the colors of autumn reach their greatest plenitude, beauty and chromatic intensity. These are the days that the Finns call "Ruska". That night it had been snowing non stop and the morning was full of beautiful images. From the top of the mountain the landscape was covered in a white layer on which many strokes of ocher, yellow, green could be seen ... An on top of that, in the silence, flocks of birds were flying south again.

Description: Image taken in Riotinto (Huelva). The foam of the river and the deceased insects create very special environments. It highlights a geometer moth (Idaea cf. Subsericeata).

Description: It was late, but not enough for what I wanted to do, so I waited to increase the dramatic sense of the image with an opaque background without texture that upped the movement of my polarizer and suddenly, there it was, the scene was magnified. And I could see a sad story was before my eyes: the pain of an Indian man for his lost son.

Espíritus de la Selva de Jorge Silva Rivera de San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas)
Place: Reserva de la Biosfera Calakmul, Campeche México.
Description: In a continuous movement, like the water stream in a river, around 2 to 3 million bats (Chiroptera) leave the cave where they live at sunset and fly to the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, in the Mexican state of Campeche, in order to find food, returning the next day with the sunrise.

Description: Detail of the egg laying of a rusty blenny (Parablennius sanguinolentus). A funny texture is created in which the eyes of small fish can be seen. Two stages of maturation can be observed, with the one on the right being the most developed.

Un bosque Imaginario de Juan Tapia de Roquetas de mar (Almeria)
Place: Punta Hidalgo, Tenerife (Espanya)
Description: The pyrolusite is an oxide that grows dendritically on rock laminations. Apparently they look like vegetable fossils, but they are not. It is a figurative and symbolic birth of a forest. In this photograph I forced exposure toward the whites while removing impurities from the rock that were aesthetically uncomfortable.

Description: I usually spend hours on the beach looking for the incredible textures shaped by the force of the sea after a stormy day. I was amazed when saw this "jellyfish". A sort of natural metaphor.
