Image of a young Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus). It is a reason for hope to watch these new offspring, which in autumn they will able to hunt by themselves, and when winter comes they will have to leave the den to accommodate a new generation. A difficult life that shines the hope of the survival of a species that continues in danger of extinction.
I was waiting in my camouflage tent, which was in shallow water, when a kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) landed in the reeds right behind me. I spotted the reflection of it on the watersurface and started photographing it with my old 50mm f1.4. A tree that was also reflected in the water, together with the reflections of the sun, produced great effects that I really liked already in the viewfinder. A wonderful morning!
A mixed flock of common teals (Anas crecca) and mallards (Anas platyrhynchos) rest on the frozen surface of the Lechago swamp during the Filomena storm. The pile of droppings adds colour to the image, like a painter's palette. The contrast between the ice sheets and the open cracks above the water make the image look like if it has been taken in further northern latitudes.
These shaggy ink cap (Coprinus comatus) were next to a wall where it was difficult to frame the image. As the camera can tilt the screen in any direction I was able to compose it vertically. The Shaggy ink caps were in shade and just in front were trees that were lit. I modified the White Balance to achieve the bluish tones.
A juvenile Europeanstonechat (Saxicola rubicola) perched on a sunflower (Helianthus annuus), a spot it used as a vantage point to catch insects. This bird was very tame and did not stop flying from sunflower to sunflower. I was able to take this image on this sunflower that stood out a bit from the rest.
I went to photograph at the cliffs of Es Pou des Lleó. When the sun was setting I took some photos with filters on to obtain a slow exposure image. I liked more how the photo worked out vertical than horizontal.
