A huge field of carnivorous yellow pitcher plants (Sarracenia flava) in the Green Swamp Preserve, North Carolina. Such a view is very rare because many of their wetland habitats have been destroyed – only about 5% remain intact.
I've been about ten days on this remote beach. Wandering around, searching for myself on a psychedelic journey when I saw an amazing seaweeds showcase. The green one is a brown algae (Fucus sp.) and the purple one is a red algae (Gelidium cf. elegans). Solitude is an important part of my art. The best way to experience a symbiotic approach to Nature and being part of it. As result I can witness the beauty around me and share its splendour with you.
In late autumn, in the mornings we can already feel the breath of approaching winter. Sometimes the thermometer dips below zero, and the grass and nettle leaves (Urtica sp.)are covered with tiny ice crystals. I converted this image into black and white to put accent on structure and textures and make it more graphical.
This image of silver birches (Betula pendula) was taken in the dusk during heavy snowfall. Falling snowflakes were illuminated by on-camera flash. For me this is a fairy-tale image that conveys the magic and wonder of winter evening.
This is a drone view of Cuejdel lake in winter. Cuejdel lake is the largest natural dam in Romania, that's the explanation for the trees trapped in the ice.
The morning frost freezes the first Crocus variegatus (similar to saffron), one of the first species to bloom at the end of winter. In Italy, these flowers are mainly present in the Trieste Karst, but also in some rare stations along the Tagliamento riverbed. It grows in dry meadows and stony pastures and on calcareous substrates.
One night I decided to try a creative approach to taking night photographs of the royal maple (Acer platanoides) forests near my house. I used a blue torch on a 30-second exposure and ran around a group of trees with the torch on and the camera facing up. Each shot ended up looking completely different and very creative. Over the next 3 weeks, I captured thousands of creative images like this one.
