On a glacial lake in Iceland, kayakers seemed to escape from imaginary monsters, created by the shape of icebergs that floating in its waters.

The old villagers say that, on cold and typical nights of this part of the region, and with the starry sky, great granite bolts crack and the last remaining climbers hatch from them, crawling through their infernal chimneys until they reach the top of it, and then they shout to the sky “Lower me a star!”. But they are just tales from the fairytale mountains.

On the island of La Palma you can contemplate one of the best night skies on the planet. This is thanks to its latitude, the fact that it is far out from the European continent, the altitude of the mountains with respect to sea level and its towns and the little light pollution which is often covered by low clouds.

Aragon is spread with formations called “Cárcavas”. They are textures sculpted by the erosion that reminds shapes from another planet. A climber ventures down about 10 meters deep and peers into the tentacles in the abyss.

During my visit to one of the most wonderful places on earth, such as the Namib desert, I saw in the distance an explorer who was walking alone among the sea of dunes. The mix of light and shadows coupled with the tiny size of the person in the environment enchanted me and I decided to portray it.

What could be better than an overnight stay in the mountains? This is an overnight stay at two erupting volcanoes and under a starry sky!!! We were lucky to see the eruption of two volcanoes standing next to each other. On the left is a small lava flow on the Bezymianny volcano and on the right, the eruption of the highest volcano in Kamchatka, Kliutxévskaia.

“Playing” in the mountains, adapting your movement’s to nature’s creation! In this case; dropping into a glacier cave, which was carved by water and time. Everything under the eyes of the almighty Matterhorn.
