A single second of the impressive and disruptive eruption of La Palma in 2021, showing several eruptive vents and some Canary Island pine trees (Pinus canariensis) giving perspective of the size of the volcanic cone.
I've long been captivated by the final light gently embracing the forest at dusk. While I've explored this composition in various seasons, it's winter that holds a special allure for me, particularly on those crisp days when the woodland is blanketed in snow.
On my last visit to Los Glaciares National Park I had this location in mind. It was the perfect time, with autumn in all its glory. I was going to stay there for 8 days, so I just had to keep an eye out for the right weather conditions to photograph Fitz Roy peak at sunrise. Fortunately I was able to get the shot I wanted.
"A long time ago, when there were still giants, dwarves and dragons, a family of dwarves lived in the forest of Perca," With this sentence the fantasy story of the natural pyramids of Platten begins, which were formed hundreds of years ago by strong storms and are constantly changing and altering nowadays. A unique place full of magic.
I tried this shot in the USA, Louisiana at Atchafalaya Basin, in a cold morning at dawn at the beginning of November I found this fabulous situation of light and fog, I took some shots. The cypresses with the Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) have a poetry of their own, I think that there was also an alligator under these cypresses and a white heron that was hunting. However I chose this shot beacuse of the resulting light.
Rauðisandur is a beach located in the western region of Iceland, known for its unique red sand. At low tide, this spectacular area offers exciting and breathtaking scenery. From above during low tide, you can perceive a surreal and enchanting landscape. The vast expanse of red sand stretches out like a bright carpet, contrasting with the dark surrounding rocks and the intense blue of the sea.
An image taken during a cold, winter night in the heart of the Finnish Lapland. To reach the spot, I had to hike for about 30 minutes with snowshoes. Shooting the northern lights with a full moon was something that I’ve rarely done before. Before last year, I mostly planned my trips around the new moon, to get those “juicy” dark skies where you get to see a bazillion stars in the night sky.
